USE THE DATA WELL
A cleaner way to research video demand
Start with the right source
Use Regional charts when you need the official YouTube most-popular list for a selected market. Use Keyword discovery to inspect how a specific topic is currently presented in public videos.
Compare context, not just views
A recent video with steady views per hour and healthy engagement may reveal a more timely topic than an older video with a larger lifetime view count.
Keep the API key protected
Use a dedicated browser key, restrict it to YouTube Data API v3, and limit its HTTP referrer to this site. Remove the saved key and clear the snapshot whenever you use a shared device.
YouTube research tool FAQ
Is this a real-time YouTube trend rank?
Regional charts use the official most-popular chart returned by the YouTube Data API for the chosen market. Keyword discovery is a separate public-video search, so it is labelled as research rather than an official ranking.
Does LoopIn receive my key or video research data?
No. The page is a static browser tool. Your key is held in your browser's local storage and used only in direct requests to Google's YouTube API. The snapshot is not uploaded to LoopIn.
How is the signal score calculated?
It is a local comparison aid based on view volume, views per hour, engagement rate, and upload age. It is not a YouTube ranking or prediction, and it should never replace your own editorial judgment.
