Set a sensible target
Begin with Balanced at -12 LUFS and a -1.0 dBTP ceiling. Use gentler settings when preserving punch matters more than immediate loudness.
Compare and export
Listen to the source and mastered previews, review the loudness meters, then download the 24-bit WAV only when the result serves the song.
LUFS and loudness
LUFS is a practical way to compare perceived loudness across a full track. It is useful for aiming at a consistent presentation, but pushing every song to the same number can damage dynamics.
True Peak and headroom
True Peak estimates peaks that can appear between sample points. Leaving a ceiling below 0 dBTP helps give encoded or streamed versions a little more safety margin.
Why compare before and after?
A visually larger waveform is not automatically a better master. Compare vocal clarity, kick impact, bass control, stereo focus, and fatigue at matched listening levels.
What this tool does not replace
For commercial release work, use this as a reference pass and involve a mastering engineer when the project needs mix revision, detailed restoration, sequencing, or delivery-specific quality control.

No. The workspace processes the selected file in the current browser session. It does not upload the track to a LoopIn audio-processing server.

Why is the mastered file a WAV?
The result is exported as 24-bit WAV so you can keep an uncompressed master for further delivery, conversion, or comparison.
What settings should I start with?
Balanced, -12 LUFS, -1.0 dBTP, and 72% processing is the intended practical starting point. Trust your ears, then reduce the processing amount if the master feels too dense.
Why can the result sound less punchy when louder?
More loudness usually requires more limiting or compression. That trade-off can reduce transient impact, which is why the tool exposes both a loudness target and a processing amount.
